What this page covers
CalcMax is a free set of calculators for general information. Using the site means you accept what is written on this page; if you do not accept it, please stop using the site.
There is no account to create and no contract to sign. This page exists to set out what the site is and is not responsible for, so that neither side is left guessing.
Nothing here is professional advice
Results are estimates for general information only. They are not medical, legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. The health tools — weight and body fat, calories and nutrition, pregnancy and fertility, fitness, cycle and sleep — are not for diagnosis or treatment. The money tools — loans and mortgages, interest rates, tax and salary, savings and retirement, investing and returns, business finance — are not an offer, a quote or a recommendation. The construction and materials tools describe ideal quantities, not a surveyor's specification.
Before you act on a result that carries real consequences — a dose, a treatment, a contract, a tax filing, an investment — check it with someone qualified to advise you on your own situation.
How accurate these are
We work to keep each tool's formula and thresholds correct, but we do not promise that a result is free of errors, complete, or right for your circumstances. The models are idealised: they leave out fees, taxes, regional rules, rounding conventions and individual variation.
What you enter matters too. Units, rounding, and which time zone a date is read in all change the answer — the formula section and the reference table on each tool page state the conventions that page uses.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We give no warranty, express or implied, that it will be available or uninterrupted, or that any result is fit for a particular purpose.
Limits of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site or from being unable to use it. Check a result before you rely on it.
Your inputs and your data
The calculations run in your browser, so the numbers you type are not sent to us. What the site does record when you visit is set out separately in the privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
The tools and this page will keep changing. When this page changes, the version you are reading is the one that applies — there is no separate notice.
