Privacy notice

CalcMax is a set of calculators you use without an account. This page describes what the site does with information when you visit it and when you use a tool — and, just as importantly, what it does not do.

It applies to every page here, in every language. It is written to describe what the code actually does today rather than what a site of this kind usually does, and it is short on purpose: there is not much to describe.

Every calculation runs in your browser, on your own device. The numbers you enter — a weight, a salary, a date, a loan amount — are not sent to this site or to anyone else, and they are not stored. Nothing leaves the page as you type.

Because of that there is nothing for us to look up, hand over or delete on your behalf: no account holds your history, and no server holds a copy of your inputs. Closing the page discards them.

One preference is kept on your device: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It lives in your browser's local storage under the name theme, and it is written only when you switch the theme yourself — a first visit reads it if it is already there, and stores nothing.

This site does not set cookies, and it does not use session storage or a browser database. There is no login, no session, and no identifier that follows you from page to page or visit to visit. Clearing site data for this site in your browser removes the theme preference; the site then falls back to your system setting.

The site is served by a hosting provider, Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host it keeps access logs, typically the IP address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent string. Those logs are produced and handled by the provider under its own policies, not by this site's code.

We do not read them to build profiles, and there is nothing here that could link a request to a person — no account, no cookie, no identifier of our own. Where a provider's own practice matters to you, its privacy documentation is the accurate source; this page will not make promises on its behalf.

This site carries no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. Pages do not load code from other companies' servers, and nothing about your visit is sold or shared, because the site collects nothing of its own to sell.

The fonts used here are downloaded when the site is built and served from this site's own domain, so opening a page does not send a request to a font service. The only outside party involved in serving a page is the hosting provider described above.

Nothing has to be accepted to use the site: there is no consent banner and no switch to turn off. If you would rather the theme preference were not stored, use a private window or clear site data afterwards — the calculators behave the same either way.

This notice describes the site as it is now. If a feature that changes what is collected is ever added — analytics or advertising, for instance — this page is where it will be described, and the version you are reading is the one that applies. There is no separate notice.
